Dazed Eyes to Coming Government

After the mediation of US secretary of the State who pulled the country out of highly possible tragedy, Afghans breathed in relief despite serious worries about the political situation in the future and present huge economic woes. While previously the number of young beggar girls were non-existent but it is changing into a normal thing these days as more and more people are added to employment market with no job available. Huge part of the people have become unemployed during past few years as hundreds of NGOs are closed down or decreased their activities tremendously.

Presently people only hope about the future government. Both candidates talked about getting people to work and highly functional and effective economic plan. But still it is not clear who would be the next president and how the future government will look like.

As far as it seems, the future government unfortunately will not be so effective and successful as people wanted to have with high level of turnout. No doubt, one of the key reasons behind turnout was that people have become tired of high level of corruption that sucks the strengths of government in delivering basic services to civilians. They know that elimination of corruption or at least bringing it down to controllable level is the very condition of economic development and economic growth.

The first reason is this that the international community clearly noticed and conditioned their generous support to declining level of corruption. Because officials under pressure on how their taxed dollars are spent. If they want to give poor money they must know that money reaches to hands of deserved civilians not warlords and government officials who then accumulate huge wealth in foreign banks or buy property outside of the country and deprive the already starving Afghans from their right of having a dignified life.

Secondly, the economy is run by corrupt politicians who do not care about people. As spiraling prices of essential goods in particular reflect the grave situation of the country.

Due to any reasons, present government did not do anything with them and let people starving. However the huge donations of money from international community over-poured and partially affected the lives of common people too. Thereafter, the process will not continue as so and government is obliged to take serious measures in terms of economic plans otherwise the economic condition will further deteriorate.
