Adverse Climate Change tainted the Earth

Every year, on April 22, “Earth Day” is celebrated. Across the globe, more than one billion people, individuals, communities, organizations and governments take part in this celebration and owe to protect it.

The triple digit increase in human population has increased their demand for greater share of resources of earth. Man mined deep into the earth to draw more earthly resources like minerals, water and fuels to make the ends meet. Water drive living organisms whilst minerals and fuel our industries and vehicles. To accommodate the increasing need of human being, factories, public and private offices had to extend their services.

The extensive unwise use of earthly resources has caused sheer declining graph of stocks of resources and emission of carbon, sulphur and nitrogen wastes. The excessive harmful gases like, carbon dioxide, methane, sulphur dioxide and nitrogen dioxide emitted from  manufacturing, petrochemical industries and vehicles, the chlorofluorocarbon released from refrigerator and air conditioners are both causing the thinning of green house and global warming.

These faces of climate change are multiplying every day. For many, climate change can often seem remote and hazy – a vague and complex problem far off in the distance that our grandchildren may have to solve. But that’s only because they’re still fortunate enough to be insulated from its mounting consequences. Climate change has very real effects on people, animals, and the ecosystems and natural resources on which we all depend. Left unchecked, they will spread like wildfire.

Every person, organizations and governments stand responsible to contribute to fix the problem of climate change. If the entrepreneurs seek opportunity in creating the new green economy, the activists organize community action and awareness campaigns, the engineers design the clean technology of the future, the public servants fight for climate change laws and for mitigation efforts and the ordinary people commit to living sustainably only then we can save the earth from manmade calamity.

This year on Earth Day, the images of people, animals, and places directly affected or threatened by climate change were collected and displayed – as well as images of people stepping up to do something about it. On and around Earth Day, an interactive digital display of all the images were shown at thousands of events around the world, including next to federal government buildings in countries that produce the most carbon pollution.

Let us take oath, on this earth day that we (the human race) shall leave no stone unturned in highlighting the core problems of the earth and advocate all possible solutions to them and we will showcase the collective power of individuals, organizations and governments taking action to save the earth for forthcoming generation.
