RIYADH - Saudi Crown Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Deputy Premier and Minister of Defense met here on Sunday visiting Afghan President Ashraf Ghani Ahmedzai and his party.

During the meeting, they discussed prospects of cooperation between Saudi Arabia and Afghanistan and the latest regional and international developments, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.

The meeting was attended by several other Saudi officials, mainly Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Saud Al-Faisal, and Deputy Crown Prince and Second Deputy Premier Muqrin bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, it said.

Afghan President Ashraf Ghani Ahmedzai arrived here earlier in the day on an official visit to Saudi Arabia.(KUNA)
