New Cabinet to Bring Big Change in Afghanistan

KABUL - The Chief Executive of the National Unity Government (NUG) Abdullah Abdullah talks of big change in the country after the new cabinet is formed.

However, President Ashraf Ghani’s deadline to form the new cabinet in the first 45 days of his presidency has already expired with no sign of the new cabinet.

In his speech to army officers at the Marshal Mohammad Qasim Fahim Military Academy of Kabul inauguration, Abdullah stated that Afghanistan would expand its relations with neighbors and world countries respecting Afghanistan’s freedom and interests.

“A fundamental change is to come in Afghanistan with the establishment of the new cabinet,” Abdullah said. “Our relations with regional and world countries will be based on respect to Afghanistan’s sovereignty, territorial integrity and national interests.”

Stressing the need for further training and mobilization of the Afghan Army, CEO Abdullah expressed that the security pacts signed with the United States and NATO will help fulfill the requirements of the troops.

“Each moment you are proving to the enemies of Afghanistan that their dream of collapsing our country will never come true,” Abdullah told the cadets.

Praising the active presence and performance of the security forces, Abdullah promised the military personnel that the national unity government will continue supporting the security forces. (Tolonews)
