Weakening Enemy out to  Create Chaos: President

KABUL - President Mohammad Ashraf has said civilians are being targeted, which demonstrates that the enemy is growing weaker to create chaos among citizens.

A statement from the Presidential Palace said that the president expressed these views in hi video conference with security and defence officials at Tawhid coordination centre.

The president directed the officials concerned to thoroughly reevaluate security situation and work out a comprehensive plan to bolster law and order.

“Past experience should be used to build maximum pressure on the enemy. An inclusive strategy be worked out to foil the nefarious designs of anti-state elements,” he remarked.

During the three attacks that occurred Shah Shahid, Police Academy, and Qasaba locality of Kabul, more than 50 people died and around 500 wounded. Majority of the victims were civilians.

“Our security forces have taken the initiative to defend the country with a high morale among the country’s valiant security forces,” he noted.

He directed security and defence organs to work diligently for a better tomorrow. Ghani also directed security organs to create a commission in order to build a fair system for promotion of security personnel. (Pajhwok)
