Ghani Appoints  Committee to Assess Hajj Process

KABUL - President Ashraf Ghani on Friday visited the injured pilots of Afghan Air Force (AAF) at Sardar Mohammad Dawood Khan military hospital of Kabul and promised to address their concerns.

Hearing the problems of the pilots who were injured during recent battles in the north, Ghani stated that he will collect the suggestions of these pilots and will address them soon.

"Once you are discharged, you will again join your ranks. Collect your views and suggestions and I am ready to serve you," Ghani told the pilots.

In addition, he praised the sacrifices of the AAF pilots for defending the country.

"We are grateful for your heroism," Ghani said. "You pilots are the pride of the country."

Meanwhile, Ghani ordered the hospital officials to pay special attention to the health of the pilots and provide them with necessary health care services.

The injured pilots said however that despite shortcomings facing the AAF, they will continue to serve the country.

They promised to battle for the sake of the country till the last drop of blood.

"We are proud of our country and we will defend it," an injured pilot said. (Tolonews)
