KABUL - Russian ambassador to Kabul, Alexander Mantytskiy, in a meeting with Afghan National Security Advisor, Hanif Atmar, on Saturday said that Russian Federation is committed of assist Afghanistan in its fight against terrorism.

Atmar said that Afghanistan needs assistance from neighboring and regional countries to respond to the shared threats of terrorism.

“Islamic Republic of Afghanistan believes that the suppression of terrorist threat in Afghanistan requires the joint efforts of neighboring countries and the region,” he said.

Mantytskiy reiterated its country’s support for the anti-terrorism policies of Afghanistan saying that his country wants a safe and peaceful Afghanistan.(KP)
