KABUL - The Chief Executive of the National Unity Government Abdullah Abdullah in a meeting with senior security officials, Badakhshan MPs and deputy head of NATO's Resolute Support mission discussed security situation in north-eastern Badakhshan province, the Chief Executive's media office said in a statement on Saturday.
According to the statement, Abdullah said in the meeting that terrorists will be eliminated in Badakhshan in the near future.
He added that security of Badakhshan is a top priority for government and that they will leave no stone unturned to ensure the safety of its residents.
Abdullah called on insurgents to join the peace process and mentioned that they will be eliminated if they refused to join peace.
The meeting was attended by the Defense and Interior ministers, the NDS chief, the deputy head of NATO's Resolute Support mission and MPs from Badakhshan.(Tolonews)
