KABUL - Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Dr. Abdullah Abdullah on Saturday said all terms of the national unity government deal would be implemented through consultation and understanding.
A statement from the CEO’s office said Abdullah met a large number of political leaders and members of his reform and solidarity team at the Spaedar Palace.
The CEO briefed in detail the session participants about his second meeting with President Ashraf Ghani, the statement said.
Dr. Abdullah said his meeting with the president took place in a friendly environment and they conferred on vital political matters and implementation of the political pact.
He said during his meeting with the president it was decided that the implementation of the political deal’s terms would be discussed in next few sessions between them this week.
The CEO thanked political leaders and Afghan people for their support and promised that the implementation process of the political pact would be pursued with consultation and understanding.(Pajhwok)
