Abdullah in Ghor to Evaluate Security Situation

KABUL - Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Dr. Abdullah Abdullah on Monday arrived in western Ghor province to evaluate the security situation and governance issues.
A statement from the CEO Secretariat said Ghor officials and elders warmly welcomed Abdullah and his delegation. The CEO attended an extraordinary security meeting immediately after his arrival.
At the meeting, Abdullah was briefed on the security situation. He would also discuss development projects and local governance at his meeting with the governor and local officials.
The CEO is accompanied by ministers of education, rural rehabilitation and development, energy and water, heads of National Disaster Management Authority (ANDMA), Independent Directorate of Local Governance (IDLG), National Directorate of Security, Council of Ministers secretary, MPs and advisors.
