 Abdullah Urges Afghan  Politicians to Act Responsibly

KABUL - Chief Executive Abdullah Abdullah urged new formed coalitions and critics to act responsibly and seek their demands through negotiation.
Introducing Hamid Tahmasi as Acting Minister for Transportation and Civil Aviation on Tuesday, Abdullah said that Afghan politicians should be united and work together for national interests.
Abdullah said that all politicians including those inside government should reach to negotiation and a single decision, “otherwise the enemies will use the opportunity against us.”
Emphasizing on ensuring justice, Chief Executive also stressed that government is committed to implement the key demands of the people including bringing reforms in state institutions.
“We accept there are weaknesses, reforms needed, demands of the people should be heeded, unity must be maintained and if justice was not ensured the system will be weakened,” Abdullah said.
It comes two days after Governor of Balkh and the leader of Jamiet-e-Islami criticized the government of monopolization and ethnic dissensions. (ATN)
