Entrance Exams for Afghan Sandhurst Military Academy Held in the East

KABUL -The entrance exam for the Afghan military academy, Afghan Sandhurst, was organized in East of Afghanistan where around 450 graduates participated for the enrollment in the upcoming educational seasons of the military academy.
The 201st Silab Corps of the Afghan Military said high school graduates as well as scores of graduates who have completed their 14th and 16th grades participated in the entrance exams.
The exams were held before noon time today in the headquarters of the Silab Corps under the supervision of Silab Corps Chief General Mir Assadullah Kohistani.
Other senior military officials including the recruitment chief for the East Gen. Najibullah and director of the training of the Afghan armed forces Gen. Ramatullah Momand were also present during the exam session.
The statement further added that the graduates had participated from Kunar, Nuristan, Laghman, and Nangarhar provinces.
The Silab Corps also added that only 48 people passing the exams with higher marks will be enrolled in the Afghan Sandhurst Military Academy for the training.
The cadets will complete 18 months of theoretical and practical classes in the academy and will join the Afghan army ranks after their graduation. (KP)
