Kabul Police Confirm No Casualties as Magnetic Bomb Goes off in the City

KABUL - The sound of an explosion sparked among the city residents this after amid growing violence in the key cities and provinces of the country but the Kabul police confirm that the blast triggered by a magnetic bomb did not inflict any casualty on civilians or security personnel.
The officials are saying that the incident has taken place in the vicinity of the 9th police district of the city in Ferdawsi park of Makrorya#3.
No individual or group including the Taliban militants has so far claimed responsibility behind the incident.
This comes as the security situation has sharply deteriorated across the country in the past few weeks as the militants have stepped up attacks in the key provinces and cities.
A coordinated attack in Jalalabad city left at least ten people dead including security personnel while 42 others were wounded.
The militants had earlier carried out a coordinated attack in two different of Kabul city that left several people dead including security personnel while numerous others were wounded.

The Taliban group and ISIS loyalists in Afghanistan both claimed responsibility behind the coordinated attacks in Kabul city last week. (KP)
