KABUL - In accordance with the directives of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, may God protect him, and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces and follow-up of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister  of Presidential Affairs and President of the Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation, The Ramadan Project of 2018 was launched in Kabul Province with funding from Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation for Displaced and Poor Families in Kabul Province.
Hundreds of poor families benefited from the project that has been implemented on 30 May 2018.
HE Saif Al Shamsi, Chargé d’ Affaires of the United Arab Emirates Embassy in Kabul, hailed the donation as a gift from the UAE people to the Afghan people and that the wise leadership of UAE has always recommended a white hand to save the poor and the needy in the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan and this aid will be implemented in other provinces also. The UAE also helps the Afghan people in providing safe drinking water, building schools, mosques, building health clinics, craft centers and ... He added: It is our humanitarian duty to the brotherly Afghan people.
The beneficiaries thanked Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation for this valuable assistance and called for the good and lasting safety and integrity of the leadership of the UAE and Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation. (PR)
