10 Including 4 Security Personnel Killed in Ghazni Attacks

GHAZNI CITY - Taliban insurgents have conducted 12 attacks in some districts and the capital of southern Ghazni province, an official said on Saturday.
Mohammad ArifNoori, the governor’s spokesman, told Pajhwok Afghan News the militants targeted the first police districts, highway and other areas of Ghazni City Friday night.
He said six rebels were killed and seven others wounded during clashes. Police special forces commander Mohammad Zarif was also killed along with three personnel in a Taliban ambush in Zan Khan district.
A resident of the district, Shamsullah, confirmed the militants attacked the district center and gunshots could be heard all night long.
Taliban spokesman ZabihullahMujahid said the rebels attacked district and overran the police headquarters. He claimed several policemen were killed, including commander Zarif. (Pajhwok)
