KABUL - The Wolesi Jirga investigative commission has decided to refer acting head of the Kabul Municipality to the Attorney General Office (AGO) over public complaints against him and continued absence from the commission meetings.
Addressing reporters here, Wolesi Jirga Investigative Commission Head Abdul Hafeez Mansour said the residents of Dasht-i-Barchi locality situated in the limits of 13th Police District claimed that Mayor Abdullah Habibzai committed corruption and sold the master plan for the area against money.
The residents of the area claimed that the road which is going to be constructed there was against the master plan and bribe had been received in the violation of master plan. They claimed to go to the court against the violation of master plan, he said.
