Health Clinic Established in Bamyan

BAMYAN - Residents of "Ali Baig" village of Bamyan province have been accessed to a Health Clinic. A Health Clinic established by the Shuhada Foundation in Ali Baig village.

According to the authorities more than 11,000 residents of Ali Baig village will be benefited by the health services of that clinic.
Eng. Ghulam Hussain Mateen, the Director of Shuhada Foundation in Bamyan told to the Bost News that, residents of Ali Baig village are the poorest and most ignored people in Bamyan province and previously they did not have access even to very basic health services.

He added that Shuhada Foundation with the close assistance of a NGO called "Mothers for Peace" established the clinic which has all kind of primary facilities for pregnant women and other patients.

Meanwhile, Dr. Raihana, the Director of Public Health of Bamyan province said that more than 76 health centers established in that province and provide services for the residents of Bamyan province. (BNA)
