KABUL - Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Dr. Abdullah on Monday arrived at United Arab Emirate (UAE) to participate the International Telecommunication Union (ITU)’s event Dubai, an official said on Sunday.
Fariadoon Khwazoon, deputy spokesman of CEO, told Pajhwok Afghan News that Abdullah at the head of high-level delegation has arrived to UAE early today.
He said the CEO would deliver a speech to the ITU event today, Monday. This conference is attended by representatives from 193 countries.
Communications and information technology minister is accompanying CEO during his trip, he added.
The CEO would brief the event about Afghanistan’s achievements in telecommunication area made over the past 15 years, Khwazoon said.
He said telecommunication and IT ministers from other countries would also take part in the conference. (Pajhwok)
