GHAZNI - Taliban fighters stormed Ghazni's Jaghori district before dawn on Wednesday, officials said.

The insurgents attacked checkpoints the district from Rasana area in Gelan district. However, the government forces could repel the assault with supports of the people. According to the deputy Spokesperson of the President Ghani, all the necessary measures were taken to suppress the enemy and some helicopters were sent to target the insurgent in the area. (DOA)
