MoI Introduces New  Rule for City’s Order

KABUL - The Ministry of Interior Affairs has introduced new rule for order in the city which according to the spokesman of the ministry are for strengthening law-and-order in Kabul city.
Najib Danish, spokesman for Ministry of Interior, said in a social media post that the implementation of the rules are the demand of “thousands of Afghans”.
Based on the new rule, the ministry has asked individuals who are not serving in Afghanistan’s security agencies to avoid carrying their bodyguards on the outside part of vehicles, including on truck bed.
Meanwhile, the ministry said individuals who are not serving in security agencies are not allowed to carry weapons such as rockets, PK guns and machine guns outside their vehicles to escort individuals for their security.
Danish said that police’s duty is to ensure people’s safety.
He said that the Special Unit of police has been deployed in different parts of the city to implement the new rule.
This comes as the Interior Ministry has released two wanted lists of at least 236 individuals who are accused of land grabbing, bullying, murder and other crimes in Kabul city.
Danish said in social media post on Saturday that another wanted list will be announced within the next 48 hours. (Tolo news)
