KABUL - President has commended support from the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to the Afghan people through various development programmes in the war-torn country.
At their meeting in Dubai, Ghani and UAE Crown Prince Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan agreed on strengthening bilateral relations and regional issues of common interest.
They vowed efforts to boost bilateral relations cooperation on issues of common interest. They also promised contributing to development and stability in the region.
According to WAM news agency, the two sides stressed the importance of redoubling international efforts to achieve peace and security and consolidate the value of tolerance.
Later, the two leaders witnessed the signing of six cooperation agreements between the UAE and Afghanistan.
Shaikh Mohammad said the UAE was paying great attention to supporting regional and international efforts for aiding the Afghan people to overcome challenges and achieve stability in their country. (Pajhwok)
