Baghlan Police Chief Among 4 Security  Personnel Injured in Taliban Attack

PUL-I-KHUMRI - The police chief of northern Baghlan province and his three bodyguards have been injured in the Taliban attack, local representatives claimed on Friday.
Shamsul Haq Barakzai, deputy head of the Provincial Council, confirmed injury to police chief, while he was unaware of the killing or injury of three bodyguards in the Taliban attack.
Provincial Council Head Mohammad Safdar Muhsani said four security personnel, including Police Chief Allah Dad Fedae, were hurt when their vehicle came under the mortar shell attack in the Bala Dawri locality of Pul-i-Khumri, the provincial capital.
Abdul Aleem Ghafari, deputy head of the Public Health Department, Police Chief Fedae was in stable health condition.
But the Governor House rejected the claim of attack of police chief and termed the news as propaganda. (Pajhwok)
