Desist from Fighting in Ramadan, Imam-I-Kaaba Urges Muslims

KABUL -  Sheikh Abdur-Rahman ibn Abdul Aziz as-Sudais, the leading Imam and Khateeb at al-Masjid al-Haraam, has encouraged the Muslims to pardon and reconcile with each other during the holy month of Ramadan.
In his Friday sermon, he said, "Ensure that you make this month of fasting one of the initiatives. It is certainly praiseworthy to take the initiative to receive the month properly by repenting to Allah, reading the Quran much with contemplation, pardoning and reconciling with others, setting grudges and malice aside, keeping the heart clean, desisting from fighting each other.”
The imam asked Muslims to remain united, think well of others, give charity, extend kindness, keep the Ummah together, avoid disputes and division, promote moderation, maintain security and peace.
He urged a respectable use of traditional and new media platforms and utilizing modern technology to serve religion and the safety of Muslim nations.  (Pajhwok)
