Explosion  Rocks Ghazni City; Three Killed

GHAZNI CITY - An explosion rocked Ghazni city on Wednesday afternoon after security forces ordered an explosive-laden vehicle to stop, but the driver refused to do so and the vehicle was targeted by security forces.
Ghazni police said security forces recognized an explosive-laden vehicle and ordered the driver to stop, but he did not and the vehicle came under fire by security forces and the vehicle detonated.
The police said two policemen were killed and four others were wounded in the explosion.
According to Ghazni police, the incident took place on Wednesday afternoon near the former Provincial Reconstruction Team base.
Meanwhile, Ministry of Interior confirmed the incident and said the vehicle was hit by a rocket fired by security forces after the driver did not stop.
According to Interior Ministry, the vehicle was a Humvee that was targeted by police at Ghazni's PD4 and as a result four Taliban members were killed.
The ministry said two policemen and one child were killed and five civilians were wounded in the explosion.
Local health officials said that three people were killed and 15 others were wounded in the explosion.  (Tolo news)
