KABUL - Afghanistan’s U16 National Football Team will face Iran in their third match of the 2019 CAFA U-16 Championship in Tajikistan today.
Afghanistan got a 2-2 draw in their first match against Kyrgyzstan but defeated Turkmenistan 1-0 in the second match on Saturday.
Zakaria Hussaini scored the only goal for Afghanistan in the match against Turkmenistan and got three points for his team.
Tajikistan defeated Kyrgyzstan 2-0 on Saturday and got 1-1 draw against Uzbekistan in their first match.
Iran with two wins against Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan has six points and is on top of the list.
The championship started on Friday with the participation of Iran, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan. (Tolo news)
