Mohib off to New  York to Attend UNGA

KABUL - National Security Advisor Dr. Hamdullah Mohib has left Kabul for New York City to participate in the 74th Session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA), an official said on Sunday.
Kabir Haqmal, the National Security Council (NSC) spokesman, told Pajhwok Afghan News that Dr. Mohib would deliver his speech at the General Assembly.
He said Mohib will discuss latest security situation of the country, yesterday’ presidential election and the peace process in the UNGA.
The Afghan NSA is also scheduled to hold a meeting with the UN Secretary General during his visit.
During his visit to New York, Mohib will also seek the UN cooperation and will ask for its continuation in future.
Last week, Dr. Hamudllah Mohib postponed his US trip to ensure security for Saturday’s presidential and deploy security forces. (Pajhwok)
