KHOST CITY - One Afghan National Army (ANA) soldier was killed and three others were wounded as a result of a roadside blast in southeastern Khost province on Tuesday.
The blast took place in the morning when an ANA pick-up hit the roadside bomb in the Sabzi Mandawi area of Khost City -- the provincial capital.
Abdullah, spokesman for the 203rd Thunder Military Corps, told Pajhwok Afghan News one soldier was killed and three others were wounded in the attack. He added the injured were evacuated to hospital and were in stable condition.
As usual, the Taliban claimed responsibility for the bombing. The group’s spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid claimed said four commandos were killed and three others wounded. (Pajhwok)
