KABUL - Eleven Taliban have been killed during security operation and airstrike in two districts of Maidan Wardak province, a statement from the Ministry of Defence (MoD) said on Saturday.
The operations carried out in the Chak and Syedabad districts, the statement said.
Six militants were killed in an airstrike in the Abguzar Valley of Chak district, confirmed a statement from the Governor house said.
It added, five Taliban were killed in night raid in the Yousufkhelo locality of Syedabad district. The Taliban’s safe haven was eradicated during the raid, the statement said. (Pajhwok)
