PUL-I-KHUMRI - At least 17 people, including women and children, were killed and another four injured after their vehicle overturned in northern Baghlan province on Tuesday, an official said.
The incident occurred in Balfi Kotal area of Khost district, said the district administrative chief, Lotfullah Atif.
He told Pajhwok Afghan News the passenger vehicle was en route to Pul-i-Khumri, the provincial capital, from Khost district when it overturned on the way.
He said the dead included five women and as many children. The victims had been shifted to the district’s clinic, he added. (Pajhwok)
