KABUL - Kakar Advocates was ranked as the top law firm in Afghanistan for the fourth year in a row in the latest Chambers and Partners’ 2020 Asia-Pacific Guide.
Chambers and Partners is an internationally-known legal directory that publishes seven regional guides every year, covering 200 jurisdictions.
All firms are ranked as Band I, II, or III, with Band I being the highest ranking. The Kakar Advocates was ranked with Brand I, according to a statement issued by the firm.
The statement said the qualification process for the ranking is an independent process which “mostly relies” on client feedback.
Kakar Advocates “remains committed to providing standard services for growing demands in the country’s emergent sectors,” the firm said in a statement.
Law firms play a critical role for businesses in Afghanistan, where bureaucracy and corruption remain key challenges for this sector. (TOLO NEWS)
