Militia Commander Killed  in NDS Raid in Kabul

KABUL - Amir Satar, a commander of people's uprising force, was killed in an operation by intelligence forces in Afghan capital Kabul on Sunday night, his relatives said.
Four others were also killed after the forces of National Directorate of Security forces stormed the house of Hafizullah, a cousin of Amir Satar, in Khair Khana area, Police District 11, of the city. Hafizullah was also killed in the raid.
Other people who were killed in the operation were a son and a nephew of the commander.
NDS has yet to make comment on the raid.
Amir Satar was a member of Jamiat-i-Islami political party and President Ashraf Ghani’s electoral team.
In recent days, several people were killed and injured in clashes between him and a former Jihadi commander in Ghorband Valley.
Angered relatives of Amir Satar said that if Amir Satar was accused of violations, he should have been pursued through legal means. (1TV NEWS)
