2 pilots killed as army chopper crashes in Farah

KABUL: A military helicopter crashed in western Afghanistan on Wednesday, killing two pilots on board, the Ministry of Defense said on Wednesday.
The MI-35 helicopter crashed in the Parchaman district of Farah province due to “technical issues”, the ministry tweeted.
“Sadly two of our brave pilots were martyred. MOD leadership expresses their deepest condolences to the families of the martyred pilots,” it added
The chopper was on a supply mission from the provincial capital to the district. (pajwak)
