KABUL - The Taliban’s financial affairs head for Northeastern Zone has been killed in an airstrike in the Imam Sahib district of northern Kunduz province, The Ministry of Defense (MoD) said on Sunday.
In a statement, MoD said that Mohibullah a Pakistani national was perished during an airstrike.
Operations against the Taliban militants have been recently accelerated in Imam Sahib District, according to the statement.
The Taliban have not reacted to the government claim of killing its funds in charge. (Pajhwok)
