India Beat Afghanistan  by 211 Runs in U-19 World Cup Warm-Up

KABUL/NEW DELHI - India defeated Afghanistan by 211 runs in their first warm-up match ahead of Under-19 World Cup in South Africa on Sunday.
Opting to bat first after winning the toss, India posted 255-8 as they played all the mandated 50 overs at Pretoria.
In reply, Afghanistan made 44 before they were all out in the 17.5 overs.
Yashasvi top scored for India with 69 before being retired out. Tilak Varma contributed with 55.
For Afghanistan, Mohammad Ishaq (11) was their only double-digit scorer.
Captain Farhan Zakhil, Sediqullah Atal, Rahmanullah, Abid Mohammadi and Abdul Rahman were dismissed for a duck.
Afghanistan’s Abid Mohammadi and Indi’as Kartik Tyangi picked up three wickets each in the match.
Afghanistan will face England in their second warm-up match on Tuesday. (1TV NEWS)
