DAYKUNDI ─ According to officials in Natural Disasters Management Authority in Daykandi province, six avalanches came down in the districts of this province in the last two days and nights, as a result of which two people were killed.
Asadullah Sarwari, director of the NDMA in the province, told TKG that heavy snowfall in Daykandi province in the ongoing year has caused financial and individual losses to the residents.
He further added, two young men were killed after avalanches came down in Miramor district last night.
According to Mr. Sarwari, the roads of Sang-Takht, Bandar and Patu districts are still blocked due to heavy snowfalls. (TKG)
