BALKH - Hamdullah Mohib, the National Security Adviser with some of the
security officials left Kabul toward Balkh, Sunday [January 26, 2020].
According to local officials in Balkh province, Hamdullah Mohib, along with the director of Local Governance Directorate, the deputy of National Security Directorate, the deputy of Afghan Ministry of Defense and the deputy of Interior Ministry arrived in Balkh province.
Munir Ahmad Farhad, the spokesperson for the governor of Balkh told TKG that the trip was aimed to observe the security situation in north and northeastern parts of the country.
The trip comes amid concerns has heightened all across these provinces. (TKG)
