<p>KABUL - Residents of Kabul city complained on Saturday that the crime level has increased in the city recently, and officials are not acting to reduce the crime level as necessary.<br>
People said that they can`t walk at night in the streets of Kabul city.<br>
Rashid, a butcher in Kabul city, said he was attacked:<br>
&ldquo;They entered my shop--I thought they might need meat, but they opened fire on me with a pistol.&rdquo;<br>
Rashid's family members criticized governmental officials about the incident.<br>
&ldquo;If your wife and sister were faced with such a problem, what do you do? Please be merciful and hear our voices,&rdquo; said Nabila, sister of Rashid.<br>
Some residents say that the governmental officials and politicians &quot;support&quot; the armed criminals, adding that lack failing to enforce the law increases the crime level. (TOLO NEWS) </p>
