Ministry of Public Health: Suspected Cases of Coronavirus in Herat Tested Negative

HERAT - The Ministry of Public Health announced on Wednesday, February 26 that the nine suspected coronavirus cases in Herat province were tested negative.
It was quoted in statement released by the Ministry of Public Health as saying, the nine suspected cases of the COVID-19 were brought to Kabul and after examining, all the cases were tested negative.
According to Ferozuddin Feroz, the minister of Public Health, only one case of the coronavirus epidemic was tested positive in Afghanistan – other nine suspected cases were tested negative.
The Afghanistan Ministry of Public Health is fully prepared to prevent the outbreak, the minister further said.
Earlier, suspected cases of coronavirus were reported in Ghor, Farah and Helmand provinces as well as Herat; however, it was not clear whether they were tested positive or negative. (TKG)
