Pakistan Closes Down  Consulate in Herat

KABUL – Pakistan closed down its consulate in Herat city of Afghanistan for visa services initially for 15 days due to fears associated with the novel coronavirus.
The Embassy of Pakistan has said in a statement that it would consults the Afghan government before deciding on resumption of visa services.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Public Health announced that the results of six suspected cases of the virus have proven negative.
Wahidullah Mayar, spokesman for the Ministry of Public Health, said on Friday that a total of 119 suspected cases of coronavirus have been reported so far, and only positive has been confirmed. (SW)
