MoI Has Insulted Our Tribe, Claim Pashaee Youth

JALALABAD - A number youth from Pashaee tribe in eastern Nangarhar province accuse the Ministry of Interior (MoI) of insulting their tribe in a formal letter.
The MoI in a letter circulated on social media has ordered its organs to monitor the Pashaee people so they could not help the Haqqani Network.
The letter in Dari says: “The Haqqani Network plans to carry out terrorist attack on Resolute Support (RS) mission. The militant network has found out that the Pashaee tribe has good infiltration and it trusts the tribal people because many Pashaee people are hired in security forces ranks.”
Youths from Pashee tribe held a press conference in the provincial council office and reacted to the letter from MoI.
Abdul Salam Pashee hit out at the letter issued from MoI and called it an insult to his tribe.
The tribe youth warned they would pull out their youth serving in security forces if the MoI did not provide explanation about the letter or apologize.
Abdul Rahman Maoon, civil activist, said: “We also severe the country shoulder to shoulder with other tribes and we want explanation from MoI.”
