Islah  Editor-In-Chief  Dies of Coronavirus

KABUL - Dad Mohammad Unabi, editor-in-chief of Daily Islah, died of the coronavirus on Sunday morning, the newspaper reported.
Unabi was the 7th media worker in Afghanistan to lose his life to the pandemic.
The newspaper wrote on its Facebook page that Unabi had tested positive for the virus two weeks back and passed away today (Sunday).
Afghanistan media support organisation NAI said: “This time, the coronavirus took the life of a media veteran Unabi -- a well-known journalist.”
Pajhwok Afghan News’ administrative head Shah Mahmood Haroon is among the seven media workers who died from the coronavirus.
According to MoPH, at least 34,366 individuals have so far tested positive, 21,000 have recovered and 994 others died of Covid-19 in Afghanistan. (Pajhwok)
