KABUL - Top Russian and Iranian diplomats have conferred on fresh developments in Afghanistan, a media report said on Saturday.
Iran’s ambassador Kazem Jalali and President Vladimir Putin’s Special Envoy for Afghanistan Zamir Kabulov exchanged views on the overall situation in the region.
According to the Iranian Students News Agency, the two sides underlined the need for greater cooperation and interaction on Afghanistan.
The envoys also agreed on continuing contacts and negotiations on the situation in the war-devastated country, the media outlet said, without giving further details. (Pajhwok)
