Saudi to Construct 600 Schools in Afghanistan

KABUL - Afghan Ambassador to Saudi Arabia on Sunday said the kingdom has approved construction of buildings for 600 schools in Afghanistan.
Ahmad Javid Mujadidi, the Afghan envoy in Riyadh, told Pajhwok Afghan News the Saudi government had approved buildings for 600 schools instead of 100 schools.
He said the Afghan government had urged the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to construct buildings for 600 schools instead of 100.
Mujadidi added the kingdom has finally approved the Afghan government request of $50 million long term loan with easy conditions.
He said the school buildings would constructed in 17 provinces by the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development. (Pajhwok)
