Ghani Sacks 17 Advisors on  Various Affairs

KABUL - President Ashraf Ghani on Tuesday sacked his 17 advisors on various affairs as suggested by the Administrative Affairs Office (AAO), an official said.
The government official, who wished not to be unnamed, told Pajhwok Afghan News that the AAO assessed forms detailing skills and experience of the 17 advisors and suggested their sacking.
The source added the president fired 17 of his advisers following their assessment and the AAO recommendation.
In addition, the portfolios of some advisors numbering 20 had also been reduced.
According to the source, this way at least 225 posts have been canceled, saving millions of afghanis to the national exchequer.
Pajhwok Afghan News has received the list of the sacked 17 advisors of President Ghani.
They include Sayed Hamid Gailani, advisor to the President on international affairs, Qutbuddin Hilal, advisor on peace affairs, Ahmad Mashahid, advisor on administrative reforms and civilian services affairs, Mohammad Ayub Rafiqi, advisor on public affairs.
Shir Mohammad Jamizada, advisor on natural resources, Shah Mahmood Sargan, advisor for research and development affairs, Sirwas Aalif, advisor for commerce affairs, Najibullah Khirkhwa Omari, advisor for higher education and Khalilullah Zamrai, advisor on prisoners’ rights.
Abdul Rahman Hotak, advisor on local and political affairs, Peghambar Quldoghan, advisor on social affairs, GulaliAchakzai, advisor on women’s rights, Azizullah Aryfar, advisor on administrative reforms, Mohammad Aziz Bakhtyar, advisor for culture and social affairs.
Dr. LailiAhrari, advisor for democracy and improvement, Hamayoon Jarir, advisor for social affairs and Bismiullah Rohani advisor on tribal affairs. (Pajhwok)
