KABUL - Abdullah Abdullah, Chairman of the High Council for National Reconciliation, visited President Ashraf Ghani Sunday.
The Presidential Palace said in a statement that the President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, Mohammad Ashraf Ghani, met this morning with Dr. Abdullah Abdullah, Chairman of the High Council for National Reconciliation at the Presidential Palace.
During the meeting, Abdullah briefed President Ghani on his visit to Pakistan, the statement reads.
President Ghani and Abdullah also discussed the next steps in the peace process.
