KABUL - The First Vice President Amrullah Saleh said vehicles with abbreviation “و ج ”  plates would be stopped and no one would be allowed to travel with vehicles that include such plates.
Saleh wrote on his Facebook page that so far the owners of eight vehicles with “و ج ” plates have gone to the Ministry of Interior and changed the plates.
He says the Taliban are trying to make fake plates and carry out terrorist attacks in the city.
It is worth mentioning that the vehicles with “و ج ” plates belong to the members of the Wolesi Jirga and it is said that these vehicles are often used in terrorist attacks.
He also said that in Yesterday’s blast on PM Khan Mohammad Wardak, at least 52 people were injured and 10 others were killed in an attack on lawmaker Khan Mohammad Wardak on Sunday.
Saleh added that only six of the injured remained in the hospital and the rest had returned to their homes due to minor injuries as many were injured by the broken glasses.
A Taliban spokesman, Zabihullah Mujahid, said they had no hand in the attack on Kabul MP ​​Khan Mohammad Wardak.
Zabihullah Mujahid, a spokesman for the Taliban tweeted that their investigations had revealed the attack in Kabul, in which a member of parliament was injured and several of his bodyguards had been killed, was not the work of Taliban affiliated members.
