Afghanistan  Reports 203 New COVID-19 Cases in 24 Hours

KABUL - Ministry of Public Health reported Sunday, that out of 1,502 samples, 203 cases have turned positive in the last 24 hours.
At least 204,335 people have so far been tested in the governmental labs, and there still are 7,596 known active cases in the country.
According to the ministry, within 24 hours, 114 individuals have Recovered from COVID-19, and Eight individuals are reported dead.
The new cases recorded in Kabul are 19, Herat 72, Nangarhar 16, Takhar 25, Paktya Five, Bamyan One, Kunduz Four, Badakhshan Two, Badghis 27, Wardak One, Kunar One, Ghor 16, Khost Five, and Paktika Six.
The total number of cases in Afghanistan is 52,909, Total deaths are 2,230 and the total recoveries are recorded 42,405.
COVID-19 global toll has increased to 84,644,904 and the dead are reported to more than 1,837,138 according to Johns Hopkins’ global dashboard. (Khaama Press)
