Afghan Post Launches Online Service System

KABUL - The Afghan Post Company on Sunday inaugurated online service system which it said was capable of providing 150 types of services to government offices.
Wahid Wais, director of the company, told a press conference here that they had signed the first memorandum of understanding about the system with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs so far.
He asked other government institutions to sign a memorandum of understanding with the Afghan Post Company to avail their services.
“Citizens of the country can now log-in to the company’s online public service system by visiting the company’s website to process their documents and after a limited period of time set by the system, they can obtain the documents from their nearest post office,” he added.
He assured that Afghan Post Company by creating the online service system had the capacity to provide a variety of public services throughout the country through its post offices in the capital and provinces.
Wais said that the company had introduced 150 types of public services in its online public service system.
According to him, using the online public service system of Afghan Post Company provides many facilities for citizens, the most important of which is to prevent the accumulation of clients in one place and to find services from several points or the nearest post offices. (Pajhwok)
