KABUL - The Afghan Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Sunday said that Afghanistan will agree a Taliban office in Saudi Arabia or Turkey.
The government wants an Afghan brought peace in the country and any kind of efforts by other countries should be in consultation with Afghan government, Janan Musazai, a spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.
"The peace process should be led by Afghanistan, otherwise it will be faced with challenges," Janan Musazai said.

According to some reports representatives of the Taliban and the United States have met in Germany several times over the last ten months.
There are rumors that the transfer of Afghan prisoners from Guantanamo Bay to Afghan prisons was also discussed in the meetings.

Based on some reports published by The Washington Post, five Taliban members were due to be released from the Guantanamo and a deal was about to be made to remove Taliban from blacklist.
Finally, the meetings failed when Afghan President Hamid Karzai rejected the demands.

Meanwhile, the ministry has announced that negotiations with the European Union are underway to sign a strategic agreement next year.
The agreement will cover security, political, economical and cultural cooperation as well as supporting democracy in the country.
