DOHA - Qatar has expressed strong condemnation of the attack that targeted a wedding ceremony in the Kapisa region in northeastern Afghanistan, causing deaths and injuries, QNA reported. Qatar has also strongly condemned the attack that targeted the city of Diffa in southeast Niger, killing civilians and security forces. In a statement on Sunday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated Qatar's firm position on rejecting violence and terrorism regardless of motives and reasons. The ministry expressed Qatar's condolences to the families of the victims, the government and people of Afghanistan and Niger, wishing the wounded a speedy recovery. (Gulf Times)
